We provide expert minor surgical procedures for a variety of skin conditions, including moles, skin tags, warts and cysts. Every procedure is performed with precision and care, using advanced techniques to minimise discomfort and support optimal healing.
· Moles
· Skin tags
· Cysts
· Lipomas (benign fatty lumps)
· Warts (common)
· Seborrhoeic keratoses
· Actinic keratoses(sun-damaged, pre-cancerous)
· Ingrown toe nails

Most procedures are performed under local anaesthetic as a walk-in, walk-out appointment in our Minor Procedure Consultation rooms.
Lesions are carefully removed by shaving or through a small incision, and the skin is closed using stitches, if needed. The majority of appointments are 40 minutes so you are free to carry on with your day. You will have a small dressing and clear aftercare instructions.
· Dressings & washing: Keep the area clean and dry for 48 hours. You can usually shower after this; pat dry and re-cover if advised.
· Activity: Take it easy for 24–48 hours; avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for afew days.
· Stitches: Some dissolve naturally; non-dissolvable stitches are removed 7–14 days post-procedure.
· When to seek help: Contact us if you experience increasing pain after day 2, spreading redness, discharge, fever, or persistent bleeding.
If a mole or lesion appears suspicious (melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)), we will arrange an urgent specialist referral (two-week-wait pathway). Selected small, low-risk BCCs may be suitable for removal in-clinic; otherwise, we refer to the appropriate service.
Our minor surgery experts will discuss with with you the option to send the tissue away for analysis at one of our labs. Results are typically available within 1–2 weeks, and we will explain the next steps clearly.
All skin surgery leaves a scar. Other risks include bleeding, infection, delayed healing, temporary numbness or nerve irritation, keloid or lumpy scarring, and lesion recurrence. Your clinician will discuss your individual risk.
Please inform us if you take blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, clopidogrel, DOACs) or have a bleeding disorder. We will provide personalised advice and coordinate with your GP or specialist if needed.
